Before Cammy gave us information on new procedures at Meals on Wheels, President Don asked her to share her vocational / classification talk, so she did that. Even club members who gave a program get a library book donated in their name.
Cammy did give an abbreviated update on Meals on Wheels North Central Texas procedures. She reminded us about procedures for delivery, reporting non-delivery, and issues with loose dogs in the house. Also, MOWNCT is rolling out an app-based routing and reporting system beginning this month, and paper will disappear in early February.
So, everyone delivering MOW needs to download the Mobile Meals app by ServTracker. This provides a format that is HIPAA compliant and also maintains the privacy of your own contact information.
Any members planning to deliver for MOW will need to have a little basic training in the app, which has been going on during the last week, and will hopefully be available independently of the Zoom and online soon.
