We held our meeting via Zoom due to the dangerous driving conditions on January 31. We held our annual election and Scott Rigsby spoke about gardening and landscaping in this area.

Scotty Rigsby, landscape specialist and Ellis County Master Gardener, gave a talk about plans and landscaping as we head through winter and into spring. He spoke about the value of landscaping, the need for both soil and mulch with the kind of alkaline hard soil we have here, appropriate plants, and several other topics. He had a slide show to illustrate his talk and show examples. At the conclusion of his program, we had a couple of members who admitted to being happy customers of his, so a small amount of testimony.
