Tom Hawbaker is not new to Rotary but is new to Midlothian Rotary, having joined in September. He will give his classification / vocational talk as our program on November 5th.
Tom hints to us that he might give us a few tax tips as we have less than 2 months left in this year for tax strategies.
Tom majored in accounting at Baylor, spent some time at a public accounting firm in Houston working his way to partner, then spent decades on the financial side of automobile dealerships, while still maintaining his CPA status. He left the automotive industry after serving as CFO of a group with over 900 employees and nearly $1B in gross sales. He has now hung up his shingle in Midlothian as a sole practitioner.
