Truett Calvert, a funeral director at Midlothian Funeral Home introduced the program by showing a video of the project and its history, then Charlotte Waldrum gave us more details. (Laura also acknowledged Randy Hampton, Truett’s boss, here to support the presentation.)
The big date this year is December 13, 2025. Most of the ceremonies for the wreath placing are held at about the same time. There are also statehouse ceremonies at most state capitols.
