Haley Seale comes to see us a couple of times a year as a part of our support of Meals on Wheels North Central Texas. She gave us an update about operations. They have been undergoing a financial squeeze as of late due to increased population in the 2,272 square miles covered by their MOW operation, as well as adjustments in funding from public sources.
Many members participate in our Tuesday Route 1 MOW volunteer delivery operation. We also support MOW financially from the club - one of those things that Flag income allows us to do.
